If you are planning to enrol onto the NEBDN full qualification, the seven modules are part of the course. Please read the NEBDN exam and RoC registration information. HERE.
Certificate of Competence in Oral Health Education and Promotion
Students can complete an alternative to the NEBDN qualification. This course requires you to complete Modules 1–7 and a Record of Competence. The DNN Certificate of Competence in Oral Health Education is designed for nurses who want to work as oral health educators in practice or community.
Enhanced CPD
You are an oral health educator already and want to complete enhanced CPD in oral health education. The GDC states: “It is important that you plan your CPD activity, ensuring it is relevant to your field(s) of practice and that it is contributing to our development outcome(s).”
The online modules alone do not award you the NEBDN national oral health qualification. To complete the qualification you would need to register for the exam and purchase the RoC Assessment tutorials and marking separately (£495.00).
Each module awards you verifiable CPD. If you decide not to complete the full NEBDN qualification you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion demonstrating you have completed all seven modules.
You have 12 months to access the learning materials.
